Ben Tells Us What He’s Going To Do Next

After completing a half and full marathon for two charities this year (Guide dog association/Pancreatic cancer UK) and raising over £1000 I have just signed up to my next challenge; I will be climbing Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Nasio Trust – a charity aiming to break the cycle of poverty by providing education, health care and sustainable income generating projects in Kenya. The charity started in a kiosk feeding just 15 of the neediest children – today the trust has grown and now supports over 400 HIV orphans and offer help in many other ways including a fully equipped medical centre. At 5895m Kilimanjaro is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. This trip will take 10 days, 8 of which will be on the mountain. My target is to raise £3,500 for the Nasio Trust.
